Looking For Lift Cable For 1978 Steury Pop Up Camper

Question:
i just bought what i am told is a 1978 Steury pop up camper. The Lift cable is broken and i am looking for information on a replacement cable and instructions/diagram.

Hello Jordan, thanks for reaching out. We do have some winch cables that may work for you, but we do not have any kind of instructions or diagrams for a 1978 camper. Only the manufacturer of the camper would have that kind of thing, and with the camper being so old that is a long shot. The best thing to do will be to check the diameter and length of the cable and try to find a match.
For example the Hand Winch Cable # DL24069 is 3/16" diameter and 20' long. It has an 1,800 lb rating and has a safety hook on one end. If you can tell me the diameter and length of your cable I am happy to look into it and see if we have anything for you.
