Recommended Portable Air Compressor for a 2024 Class C RV

Question:

Ive a 2024 Class C RV on 2022 Sprinter 3500 chassis. Looking for product recommendation for air compressor for tires 61 psi front and 57 psi for dualy rear. Battery is located on drivers feet so not easy to get to for normal portable air units on 12 volt battery power. Do you have a product recommendation for this task? Hey David, for your 2024 Class C RV on a Sprinter Chassis you can use the Viair Automatic RV Portable Air Compressor # VA89WR.

This air compressor has a max air pressure of 150 PSI, has an 8' power cord so it will be long enough to reach your battery, and has a 60' air hose length.

Bryce: Thanks for recommendation. I really would like to avoid an air compressor which works off the vehicle's battery. Your recommendation would work but getting to the battery in the Sprinter is a major hassle, especially with hard floor mats. Also, didn't mention before but if unit could also function as a battery jumper that would be great too. I got a unit from Costco which works but it's cheap and already taken one unit back for no longer working. Thanks, David

@AltenateS David, so then it sounds like something like the Viair Plug-N-Play Portable Air Compressor # VA32JR would work better. This compressor does not connect to your battery and uses the 7-way on your Sprinter for power instead. As far as battery jumping goes, unfortunately it doesn't look like any of the units we carry have that capability.
