Hi Shelley; based on those dimensions it sounds like you might want to use this for a motorcycle plate. The screw holes on the # CR79150 are designed for a standard license plate so they wouldn't align. The overall dimensions are 12-1/16" long x 6" wide x 1/4" thick so you could physically put the plate on top of it with plenty of room to spare but you would have to modify the mounting plate to secure your smaller plate. It would probably be best to find something specifically designed for a plate with those dimensions which is not something we carry.

The issue is that I have a trailer with predrilled holes for a standard size plate. I moved to a new state and their trailer plates are 4" x 7" so I was looking for something where a 4x7 could be mounted to a standard frame so I don't have to drill new holes into my trailer. Do you have anything for that?

@Shelley unfortunately we don't have any kind of adapter that would make the two compatible. You could attach this mounting plate to the standard holes and then zip tie your smaller plate on if you aren't too concerned about how secure it is. I wouldn't expect the plate to fall off but someone might cut it off (I'm not sure why but people do strange things.) Otherwise, you could you reach out to a local fabricator and they could fashion one that would match the holes for both and allow you to attach it with screws. I imagine a simple job like that wouldn't be too costly.
