Installation of Tekonsha Wiring Harness on 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid

Question:
I just ordered the Tekonsha 118741 harness for my 2023 CR-V Sport hybrid. Since the battery replaces the normal spare tire, what differences should I expect for installation and storing of the cable?

Hi Ron; the # 118741 will still plug into the same spot. The installation is pretty simple since it is plug-and-play, and doesn't require removing the spare nor would it require messing with the battery. I don't know how any cables run under there but I doubt anything would be in the way of the wiring harness. Worst case you would need to secure the 4-way somewhere to the side if there is absolutely no space in the battery compartment. More than likely you can follow the same steps from our installation video below and pretend like the spare is the battery.
