Question:
Hello, Have a camper that Im rehabbing and interested in the Advent compact air conditioner. All I have right now is the 120v wire to the opening. What would I need to purchase to put one of the low profile advent 13500 btu air conditioners in? Thank you

Hey Chad,
You'll need an air distribution box to go with your rooftop unit # ADV79FR to get the other half of the system. You could go with the # ACDB if you want the controls built into the air distribution box or the # ACRG15 if you'd prefer a wall mounted thermostat. If you go with the wall mounted thermostat then you'll also need to pick up some wiring to run from the thermostat to controller built into the air distribution box.
While not necessary it is recommended to also install a start capacitor # ACMSCKIT to help reduce the huge power draw when both the fan and condenser kick on.

Do I need a harness to connect? Currently I don’t have a harness installed on the camper since this is basically new construction…just bare wire.
