Hello Steve, we have exactly what you're looking for with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e65AR and 4 wiring kit # C59236 which are both confirmed to fit your 2012 Nissan Murano. Our etrailer hitches are what I like to recommend due to the matte finish, which blends in really well with the OEM look and is an economical option.
This is all you need for a trailer without brakes. If your trailer does have brakes, you'll need the 4 way aforementioned in addition to the # ETBC7 which converts it to a 7 way. Then you'll need a brake controller like Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. I attached an installation video for you to check out regarding the 4 way wiring.
