Can I Use Shocker Gooseneck Pin Box On 2007 Ram 3500 Flatbed With Recessed Gooseneck

Im in the process of purchasing a 2018 forest river vengeance 348a13. I have an 07 ram 3500 megacab flatbed with a recessed gooseneck ball. Im wanting to purchase the appropriate Shocker 5th wheel to gooseneck hitch, and im unsure of which model i need. Thanks

Hello Daniel, thanks for reaching out. It may be possible to use a Shocker 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pinbox with your 2007 Ram 3500 Megacab Flatbed with the recessed gooseneck ball, but it will completely depend on the dimensions of the recessed gooseneck. The gooseneck pocket needs to be at least 12" x 12" and the distance from the top of the hitch ball to the top of the flatbed can be no more than 2". As long as you meet these requirements you can use the Shocker hitch.
We will also need to confirm the pin box size currently on your camper. For example, the Shocker 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pinbox # SHK23MR replaces the Lippert 1621, 0719 or Rhino pin boxes. Please confirm your pin box size and I can make sure you get the exact right one. There should be a sticker on the pin box that has a model number or serial number I can cross-reference. Otherwise you can use the measuring guide linked below to determine the pin box size. Feel free to reach out if there is anything else I can do to help.
