Replacement Gear Motor Assembly for Lippert Slide-Out Not Working With Direct 12V Power
Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 10/19/2024 >
Question:
I have this exact motor …. To test the motor, I grounded the motor, then supplied the red lead wire to the positive 13.5 volt side of the battery. Nothing happened, then tried the black lead wire, and still nothing. So I am assuming that the motor is bad, and needs replacing.

Hi Barry; based on your testing I agree that the motor is bad. The good news is you already identified it so you can replace it with a new # LC27VR.
