Hello Eric, thanks for getting in touch. I do have some options for you, but there are no custom fit gooseneck or 5th wheel options for a 2008 Dodge Ram 5500 cab and chassis.
For the gooseneck I recommend using the Curt Gooseneck Flat Plate # C65500. This plate is universal and it is generally attached to the flat bed or directly to the frame using grade 5 or higher bolts.
It is possible to attach a 5th wheel hitch to your vehicle, but it would need to go in the same place as the gooseneck, so there is not a great way to install both at once. The best 5th wheel hitch option for a cab and chassis truck is the Reese Low Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30054. The hitch has a 30K capacity, and is intended to be bolted directly to the vehicle's frame. Some welding and fabrication work might be necessary for installation.

Hey Eric, how did things go with the Curt gooseneck flat plate on your Dodge 5500? Were you able to get it mounted the way you wanted for both towing setups? Your update could make it easier for others working with a cab and chassis truck.
