Correct Stealth Hitch for 2021 BMW X5 40i With M Sport Package

Question:

This is a little confusing. I have a 2021 BMW X5 40i with the M Sport package. If I read your post correctly I would need the SH25VR but when I select that model it specifically says “excluding M sport package”. I want to be sure this is correct and if so it would indicate to me that I could also use a non stealth hitch. Am I missing something? Thank you! v/r, - Rick

Hi Rick; this can easily be confused with the different M designations from BMW along with the way our fitguide lists things. However, you did read my old answer correctly. Since you have the 2021 BMW X5 40i with the M Sport Package you need the # SH25VR.

When you look at the product page it shows "models with M Sport package" and "excluding models with M Sport package or M Models." This means it fits if you have the M sport package, and it also fits if you have any other model that is not the M sport package or the true M series model.
