Lowering Kuat Platform Bike Rack with Missing Pedal

Question:
The foot pedal is missing. How can I lower the rack manually

I am not sure how to operate the tilt without the pedal present. If it fell off this would be a good time to remind you the rack has a lifetime warranty so I would recommend contacting who you got the rack from to see about a warranty claim.

Thanks. I got it to lower with a screwdriver after a bit of panic - we’re moving tomorrow, gotta bring the bikes!
