Will 7-Way to 4-Way Adapter part # C55384 Affect Vehicle Taillights or Trailer Wiring

Question:
i have a 2021 Ford F250 Super Duty CC LB with the 7.3L gas engine, Halogen lights with the factory towing package with the 7 pin/4 pin connector in the bumper and also a 7 pin connector in the body for a fifth wheel hookup Looking to install a Homemade Headache Rack with lights. Was thinking 2 stop, tail, and turn lights. Wiring the 2 lights using standard 4 wire trailer wiring so i cpuld plug in separately for power at the 7 way/4way factory connection, basicly looking for a 2nd 4 way to plug into. Will this harness affect the towing modes when plugged in so the truck thinks I have a trailer hooked up all of the time?

Hey Jeff, the Curt 7-way 4-way adapter part # C55384 does not affect the regular trailer wiring functions or the vehicle taillights so it would work great for you.
