How to Determine if Seal SR26ZR is Correct

Updated 12/23/2025 | Published 10/02/2024

Question:

I’m looking for the bunk seal on a 2012 Jayco X17Z hybrid. The SR26ZR looks correct but I just wanted to verify this is true before ordering. Can you confirm please? Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason,

We're unable to verify what seal is on any specific trailer, unfortunately, so to determine the right one for your Jayco, you'll need to know the shape and take a quick measurement. The # SR26ZR is 3/4" wide x 1/2" tall and a half-moon, so if that's what you have, it'll work for you.

If not, I've added a link below to our entire selection which you can filter through by size.

Hey Jason, were you able to measure the seal on your Jayco to see if the half-moon style matched up? Knowing what worked could help someone else trying to replace their bunk seal too.

@JesseM Yes, the replacement seal matched up to oem seal. Unfortunately it didn’t resolve my leak as I discovered that the problem was actually caused by the beds bowing slightly in the middle causing uneven pressure on the seal. The replacement seal was of good quality and easy to install but take a ladder and check the gap in the middle of the bed before purchasing.

@Jason Thanks for following up and sharing what you found. That’s a really good catch on the bed bowing in the middle, and it’s something that can definitely cause leaks even when the seal itself is a good match. I appreciate you pointing that out, as it’s a great tip for others to check for uneven pressure before replacing the seal. Thanks again for taking the time to share!
