Kwikee SuperSlide Tray Assembly - Can 800 lbs Be Loaded On Unsupported End Of Slide?

Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 09/30/2024

Question:

Hi, my question is about product LC370761 which is 80 sliding cargo rails. The tray weight capacity is 800lb. When the rails are fully extended, can they hold 800lb in the part that extends outside of the van meaning the part that is no longer supported underneath? Thanks!

Hey Abigail, that is a good question. The Rail Kit for Kwikee SuperSlide II RV Storage Slide Out Tray Assembly # LC370761 is intended to be evenly loaded. So the 800 lb rating is for an evenly loaded slide. You would not want to have the full 800 all on the unsupported end. It does not have to be perfectly evenly loaded, but you will want to try to distribute the weight as evenly as possible.

Hey Abigail, how did things go with the SuperSlide II tray once you balanced the load across the rails? Your experience could help others trying to manage weight on the extended section.
