Recommended Roof Rack and Roof Top Tent for a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Latitude

Question:
Hello, I have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with factory side raised rails that run front to back. I plan to buy the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised Side Rails - Aluminum - 50inch Long - Silver, Part Number: MPG215 and install the Yakima SkyRise Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars - 3 Person - 600 lbs - Green, Part Number: Y79XR on the crossbars. Could you tell me if the crossbars fit for my Jeep, fit for the tent, and can carry the load capacity of the tent? Thanks so much.

Hey VN, looking at the Malone AirFlow 2 # MPG215, it does look like it fits your 2020 Jeep Cherokee. These rails are 50" long, and will work great with the Yakima SkyRise Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars # Y79XR.
These crossbars list a max weight capacity of 165 lbs, but that's referring to the dynamic weight capacity, meaning while the vehicle is in motion. When you're parked and using the tent you can use the tent to it's full capacity since the weight will be resting over the axles.
