Does the Curt Echo Need a Separate Line and Fuse to Install

Question:
Hello. I already have a power wire running to my C67WR 4-way on my 2024 Atlas. Can I tap into that wire for the bluetooth brake controller, or do I need a separate line with separate fuse? I imagine its possible that the wire gauge isnt sufficient to power both the lights and the brakes. Thanks!

Marshall, you do not need to run a separate line to install the Curt Echo # C51180. This brake controller does not integrate with brake controller wiring, just the 12V accessory circuit which is already protected with a 40 amp fuse.
