Could Trailer Taillight BUL06CB be Used to Replace Truck Lite 40

I have truck lite model 40. Will this work with as a replacement?

I was able to find some info on the light you have and it was designed to fit a 4-1/2 inch hole which the part # BUL06CB can fit with the correct grommet size. The grommet would need to be for a 4-1/2 inch hole and a 4-1/4 inch light.

Hey, how did the fit turn out with the LED backup light and the 4-1/2 inch grommet? Knowing what worked might help others trying to replace their Truck Lite model 40.
