The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its front axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.
Superior Construction
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Roadmaster front anti-sway bar. Now, this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2019 and newer Ford F-550 Super C motorhomes. And on a custom-fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this'll work for your application.
Now, this anti-sway bar will help minimize side to side movement. Improves overall stability of your vehicle. It will let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence. Allows for a nice level ride even on irregular surfaces. And it helps reduce driver fatigue cause it'll minimize the effort that's required to keep your vehicle in line.
It does diminish the effects of crosswinds, passing motors, shifting cargo. And as we've mentioned, it is designed to fit your vehicle and work in conjunction with its suspension system. Basically, it'll attach to the front axle and to the chassis. And it uses the weight of the axle to brace the frame as it shifts and turns. It is engineered to avoid interference with most of your popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories.
Now, I want to zoom in and show you the bushings. They do come with the polyurethane bushings now instead of the standard rubber variety for a lot longer lasting system. The polyurethane is durable. Resistant to damage that can be caused by oil, gas, and ozone. And of course, less wear will mean less give in the system and better support.
Now, the bar itself, it is constructed of a thick 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength. The diameter of the bar is 1 5/8 inches. And it does include everything laid out here on the table. All the heavy-gauge mounting hardware. Nice set of easy to follow instructions. And they even give you a neat little tube of bushing lubricant. So, when you go to install your bushings, put this lubricant on your options in the installation. And these parts are made in the USA.
