Question:
What are the electrical requirements for this light kit. DO you still need the expensive wiring with the direct battery connection or can you just connect it to the tail lights?

Hey Steve,
The electrical requirements are simply you need a 4-way trailer wiring harness on your vehicle in order to use the Tail Light Kit and License Plate Holder for Thule Epos Bike Racks # TH79XE.
This isn't a direct battery connection but also can't connect directly to tail lights, you just plug it right into the 4-way of your vehicle and you're set.
