You'll need to check in your copy of the owner's manual to see if you can flat tow your 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 2WD. I tried looking it up online but was unable to verify this on my end.
With that being said, if you are able to flat tow it then the correct base plate kit and wiring harness is listed below:
- Base Plate Kit # 131-8 for 3" hole spacing OR Kit # 131-3 for 1-1/4" hole spacing (see attached photo)
- Wiring Kit # RM-15267
