Will The Leer Latitude Tonneau Cover Tarp Flap In The Wind
Updated 09/18/2024 | Published 09/10/2024 >
Question:
Does the fabric bounce and vibrate in the wind while traveling down the road? I had a cheep tri-fold that made all kinds of noise when flapping in the wind. Thanks.

Hey Don,
As with any soft cover there is going to be a degree of flappiness in the wind with the Leer Latitude Soft Tonneau Cover # LE59MR. Since the Latitude is self-tensioning you can't tighten it further than what the manufacturer has it set to so that it can easily fold up. I wouldn't say it's cheap or that it would flap enough to make noise but there will be some movement.
If wanting to completely avoid the flapping and noise you would either need to go with a hard cover or go with a soft, roll-up cover that you can adjust the tension on. What would you prefer?
