Question:
Will this fit a 1988 NuWay folding trailer 48inch x 96inch ? How long is the square tubing part of the axel? Overall length?

Hey Bob!
The CE Smith Trailer Axle Beam with Studded Hubs # CES84XR will fit your 1988 NuWay trailer if your current axle has 49" hub face and 38-1/2" spring center dimensions (see attached photo to compare). The overall beam length is 54".
If this doesn't match what you have, please let me know what your axle measurements are and I'd be more than happy to help you find a replacement! I unfortunately don't have a listing of what came on your trailer so I don't have a way to verify this on my end.
