Hey John,
I drew up a little diagram showing the spacing for the mounting holes in the Dometic RV Furnace Access Door # DMC57RR flange and access door. For mounting the flange to the RV walls you'll go with the holes spaced further out at 17-1/8" x 6-5/8". I would definitely use some butyl tape # AL28FJ on the back side of the flange to help prevent any water from leaking in through the screw holes.
Once you have the furnace in place and the access door mounted you can also run a bead of non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 around the outer edge of the door to really ensure a waterproof seal.

Hey John, how did the mounting go with the Dometic furnace access door and the flange spacing you used? It’d be great to hear if the butyl tape and sealant gave you a good waterproof seal. Your update could make it easier for the next person working on the same setup.
