Now folks, this furnace access door does pair with your Dometic RV furnace to ensure safety and also provide access for air to circulate around the furnace. It helps prevent overheating while also supplying sufficient oxygen for combustion.
It does come in two pieces. You get the metallic black color here, powder coated, with the plastic backing here frame, and all the foam and everything needed for the install. You also get the four screws for mounting it as well. Now, this is does act as a barrier to protect your furnace from dust, debris, and moisture, and also prevents accidental contact with hot surfaces, components behind the furnace, and potential sparks and stuff that could fly out. Overall, 14 3/8 long by 9 3/8 tall and thickness was 1/4 inch thick.
