Does BOLT Locking Hitch Pin Have Weight Capacity

Question:
I have a 2018 F350 4x4 what is the weight rating on the pin, I have head that cheaper pin have been known to shear.

Hey Douglas, the BOLT hitch locks like the part # BL7023585 do not have a weight capacity or shear rating because they actually don't typically bare the weight of the trailer as the ball mount pins itself into the hitch tube and that's what pulls the trailer. We've sold quite a few of these also and have not had any issues with them shearing off.
