Question:
There is no power to the plug. Do I need to add some fuses or circuit breakers?

Expert Reply:
If you tested the 4-way of the Curt Connector part # 56094 with a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993 and got no power out of any of the pins with the different taillight function applied the first thing I would do is make sure you grounded the white wire of the harness to a clean metal surface that touches the vehicle frame.
The next thing I would do is make sure that all of the connectors are securely in place. You could even unplug them and then replug them back in. I attached an install video for you to check out also. Are the vehicle taillights still working? If not, then a fuse is most likely blow and will need to get replaced. There may have been a short on the trailer that fried this circuit. I would recommend fixing the short before replacing the fuse as it would keep popping that fuse.
I also attached an FAQ article on troubleshooting 4-way installs for you to check out.
