Question:
Hello I’m trying to upgrade my suspension on my 2013 dodge grand caravan. I camp often and need added clearance. Additionally I am trying to use a carrying hitch for my 305 lbs enduro. I bought a heavy duty swing out arm so I can still open the gate while the bike is on the hitch. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find anything beefy enough to hold the weight of the bike. I also need the hitch to tow a tent trailer that weighs under 4000lbs. Thanks for any help you can give. -Ashley A

Hey Ashley, I would be happy to help! Let's address your suspension issues first. For your 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, I recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TDVRRT. This hollow rubber springs will replace your factory bump stops and limit how far your suspension will travel.
The Timbren item # TDVRRT is great due to the zero maintenance required and will give you the support you are seeking. This is the best way to keep your van from sagging,
I can't tell if you already have a hitch but incase you don't, the best one for your van is going to be our etrailer item # e98854. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan with included hardware. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity and a 400 lbs maximum tongue weight.
Since you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56331 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
Our highest capacity bike rack that works with swing out adapters is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack item # HLY84FR. It has a 80 lbs per bike capacity, works with tires up to 5" wide, and has padded clamps that work great with standard shaped frames and step-thru's.
I have linked review and installation videos below for all of these parts so you can see how to get them set up and their features demonstrated.
