Greetings Ive been researching the control board 91365 and some folks say it needs an adaptor to work with the WH6GEA water heater... is this true?

Hi Alan,
It does look like there are certain models that might require an adapter to connect the 4-wire and 6-wire harnesses to the # DMC89FR. The adapter is part number 92074 and unfortunately isn't something we currently offer. There really isn't any literature stating which models specifically need this adapter but the parts diagram for the WH6GEA does show it so I'd say you would likely need it.

Just a heads up, the WH6GEA water heater does NOT need the adapter for the 91365 the control board. Have a good day!
