Question:
Im considering buying a Transfer V2 to carry a 28 pound hybrid bike on 300+ mile road trips. I have not yet bought the hitch bracket. Would you recommend a Class 1 1.25 or Class II 2 hitch for this application? I have a small car 2015 Kia Soul, and would never want to tow anything or even put 2 bikes on a rack.

Hey Doug, for your 2015 Kia Soul I would go with a Class I hitch like the Curt # C11419 to carry the Kuat Transfer V2 part # KU74FR. The 2 inch hitch part # 306-X7326 is a great hitch but it honestly is too expensive for if it was my choice to make and doesn't really offer an advantage.
