Is Torque Wrench Required for Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch On 2019 Subaru Outback

Question:
Im getting ready to put my trailer hitch on but there are no instructions. I watched the video but there are no specs for the torque. Do I need to use a torque wrench?

Hi Lucas; you will need a torque wrench to install the # 76227 on your 2019 Subaru Outback. The reason you don't hear the torque specs in the installation video is because they aren't there. Manufacturers sometimes updated these specs if they make a change to the hitch so that information is only in the instruction manual. If you don't have your physical copy you can find the instructions by scrolling down on this page. Step 5 lists the torque.
