Troubleshooting Everchill WD-282FWDC Fridge Freezing Up

Question:
I have an Everchill wd-282fwdc and the fins behind the freezer fan keep freezing up and get encased in ice. I have to take the back of the freezer off to defrost it.

Thanks for reaching out to us, Steve!
The Everchill fridges, like part # 324-000119 that replaced your model, have had an issue where the ground isn't in a great spot from the factory. Once you have it thawed out try making sure the ground is properly secured to a clean bare metal surface (on paint). Also be sure that the fridge is level and the drain is routed properly for the water to flow out of it easily.
