Will this mirror replacement affect the annual safety inspection of the car? Will it pass inspection with this product?

Hey Mark, thanks for reaching out!
The Easy Cut-and-Stick, Acrylic Replacement Mirror from CIPA # CM01100 is designed to be more of a temporary fix and isn't meant to be a long-term solution so I'm doubtful it will pass an inspection.
If you let me know the year/make/model of your vehicle I can see if we have some OE replacement options that will work.

2008 Lexus Is250. I am looking to replace the rear view mirror. It is dark/dim and scratched. I cannot see well. It has a plug in with NESW direction lit in right corner- 1,2,3 numbers on bottom left of mirror. I do not know if it is connected/attached to windshield.
