Video Transcript for How to Install the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2013 Ford F-150

Today on our 2013 Ford F-150, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech front auto floor mats in black part number WT446111. These are also available in tan, part number WT456111, and in gray, part number WT4666111. You can see on our Ford F-250 here with the factory mats installed, we're only going to have coverage in this very small area, so we're going to get dirt and grime into our carpet and get ground in there. If you spill liquids on the floor, it's going to mess up your carpeting. We're going to go ahead and pop those out by pushing down on these tabs in the center and taking out the mat. We're going to install the new WeatherTech mat. It's going to fit over those posts on the floor as well.

Snap them down. Now you can see we're going to have full coverage over our sill here, go nice and far up on our carpeting, up under our pedals, around the side of our transmission hump, and back around the front of our seats. With these channels here, it's going to help keep dirt and debris off of our clothing, and channel it out of the way. This nice big reservoir area here, you have melting snow on your feet, or you spill something, its going to keep in contained inside this reservoir so you can take it and brush it out over the sill plate here and get it outside your vehicle. You can see on our passenger side her, it's a little bit larger of a floor mat, but it's still not going to give you the coverage along the side of your transmission hump or over your sill plate here. If you we're to get some muddy feet or snow on the bottom of your shoes.

We're going to take this mat out as well. You'll also notice on this side, it does not have the stay-put pegs on the floor. Our WeatherTech's going to come with these new Tech-grip II carpet grippers. It's going to have a little tab on it that'll snap on to the bottom of our mat. These teeth on this side are going to bite into the carpet and not let it slide around. We'll go ahead and snap them into place, and we can take our mat, we'll turn it over.

We'll give it a little push to help set them into the carpet. It's going to go around the front of our seat, around the side of our transmission hump, it'll raise nice and far up under our dash, across our A pillar and over our sill plate. On this side as well we'll have our channels to help keep dirt and debris away from our clothing, and a nice large reservoir to hold any liquids that might get spilled. Should they ever become dirty, you can simply wash them with some mild soap and some water, or you can pick up some of the WeatherTech cleaner and protector kits that are available on our website part number WTALTC36K.
