How Does Lippert Replacement Motor with Brake for In-Wall RV Slide-Out Fit
Updated 01/19/2026 | Published 08/01/2024 >
Question:
How does this new style work compared to the older style. Is there anywhere for the retaining spring to attach to? How is it secured in place? Schwintekk has a set screw and the older slide rack has a tab for the spring. I afraid if I buy this one it won’t work.

Hello Andrew,
I checked with Lippert, and the Lippert Replacement Motor with Brake for In-Wall RV Slide-Out # LC364262 is only a replacement for the Lippert SlimRack In-Wall slide-outs. There is nothing regarding a retaining spring in the manual for these slide-outs though this is secured in place via a set screw.
