Looking For Replacement Torsion Axle For 2019 Towmaster T-12DT

Question:
I am looking for information for a replacement axle for a 2019 Towmaster T-12DT. It has 7000 lb torsion style axles with electric brakes. We are looking for a complete axle with brakes if possible. VIN: 4KNBT2820KL162804. Thank you.

Hello Dave, thanks for reaching out. I can provide some helpful information for you, but unfortunately, we do not offer any torsion axles here at etrailer. For tracking down a replacement, the most important things are the weight capacity and the overall length of the axle. If you can match these two specs, then you will have found a suitable replacement. Since you already know the weight capacity, all you need is the length. Axles are measured across from hub-face to hub-face. Aside from contacting the manufacturer of the trailer directly, there is no way to use the VIN to get this info, so measuring will be your best bet. From there, I recommend you contact an axle manufacturer such as Dexter. They should be able to provide an axle, or maybe even custom make one to your specs.
