Can MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent Hang Over Back Edge of Trailer
Updated 07/24/2024 | Published 07/23/2024 >
Question:
I was considering the Maxxair Maxxfan Deluxe, until I realized how close my vent was to the back of the RV... I only have 5 inches from the back of the opening to the back edge of the camper, and I believe this fan is ~7 inches when closed, meaning it would stick over the back edge of the camper 2 inches when closed. Looking around further, all the other high-powered fan and rain cover combinations would also stick out over the back I believe. Is there any reason other than aesthetics that I should not consider this fan or any other option which sticks over the back?

Hi Jimmy; there is no reason you shouldn't consider the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-06401K as a replacement. As long as your opening is 14" wide x 14" long and you don't mind it hanging over a little at the back it will fit and work well for your trailer.
