Question:

I have a 2024 GMC 3500 8’ bed, dual rear wheel. There is a step built in to the front corner of the bed. Running boards of truck end at the cab. Please advise of kit which applies for front and rear attachments. Also, will kit allow fuel door to open when camper installed? Thanks, KJM

Hi KJM; assuming you have the factory trailer hitch or the Torklift SuperHitch Magnum the correct TorkLift camper tie-downs for your 2024 Sierra 3500 dually is the Custom Fit Tie Down Kit With TL44FR | TL84FR # TL94PR. If you have a non-Torklift aftermarket hitch you need the # TL64QV instead. These will fit with that built-in step you're referring to as seen in the installation video below for the tie-downs.

The actual tie-downs won't interfere with the fuel door but the turnbuckles will likely be in the way. Unfortunately, there really isn't a way around this because of the mounting position. The best thing you can do is get turnbuckles like the FastGun # TLS9529-2-LK which have a quick and easy installation so it won't be a hassle to access the fuel door when you need to gas up. This can be seen in the other video I attached below for the turnbuckles.
