Question:

I have a 06 Honda Element that I want to flat tow. I bought the tow brackets from you and already had the tow bar. I need to wire it and I would like to have a flat four pig tail plug to use for hauling a utility trailer in addition to connecting to my motor home. What kit or kits do I need?

Hey Ronald, so we have what you are looking for but one kit can't provide both the function of tow bar lighting and trailer lighting as the kits basically can't work in "reverse".

So what you'll need for tow bar lighting is the part # RM-15267 which is a diode kit that you can wire to the taillight wiring of the Element and then for trailer lighting you would want the part # C59236.

Hey Ronald, how did the wiring go on your Honda Element using the diode kit and the Curt converter? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up both tow bar and trailer lighting.
