How To Add Sway Control to a V-Nose Enclosed Trailer With Not Enough Frame For a Sway Bar

Updated 07/19/2024 | Published 07/17/2024

Question:

I have a 20ft. enclosed V-nose utility trailer with a very short exposed A-frame 17. Any suggestions for sway control? Normal sway control bars are too long to fit.

Expert Reply:

The Tuson Trailer Sway Control System # 335TSC-1000 is going to be the best option for adding sway control on your enclosed V-nose trailer. This will use the trailers electric brakes to individually apply brakes on either the left or right side and control the trailers sway. Best of all once you install it the system is active and you do not have any additional parts to connect/disconnect every time you tow like a Sway Bar # 83660.
