What is the best way to remove a 4 way flat plug from the curt 4 way flat mounting bracket.

Hello Dennis, thanks for reaching out. The best way to remove the 4-flat plug from the # C42CR bracket is basically the same way it went it. I would start by working the plug from side-to-side a bit to get it loose. Then press the plug out thru the back of the bracket. Try pressing with your thumb while working the plug side-to-side and it should come out with a little persuasion. If it is stuck in there real good you could maybe try some lubricant spray or WD40 to help move things along.
