Question:

I occasionally tow my travel trailer with my 2021 Nissan Titan 2WD. The Trailer is a Jayco 26RLS with a hitch weight of 800lbs and a vehicle weight of 6000lbs. I sometimes experience a bit of rocking when the road has dips etc. for example when you cross a bridge where it joins up with the main road again, and the damping is not always as quick as I would like. For this reason, I am considering installing some Sumo springs on the rear axial. Would that help the problem and if so, would the blue springs be the recommended version. I don’t use my Titan for towing only, but I do tow my trailer at least 4 to 5 times a year. I have towed it from Savanna Georgia to Canada in the past but for the most part the trips are within a 3-hour drive from where I live. Thanks

Hey Andries, we have exactly what you are looking for to stop the porpoising you described but it's not the SumoSprings kit. Instead I would highly recommend the Roadactive Kit part # RAS3611-HD which is a confirmed fit for your 2021 Nissan Titan.

Of all of the available options the RAS kits do the best job at providing additional suspension suport, improving stability, reducing porpoising, and improve ride quality and handling when loaded and unloaded. Nothing else out there does all of these things.
