Can Advantage Hitch Extender be Used with Tire Carrier

Question:
I need a hitch extender to mount a Wilco tire carrier. The distance from the middle of the pin hole to the end of the receiver is a little over 5.5. Will this hitch extender fit?

Hey Adrien, how did the Advantage hitch extender work out with your Wilco tire carrier? It’d be great to know if the extra 11 inches gave you the clearance you needed. Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar carrier.
