I want to add a furrion backup camera to our 2021 Mesa Ridge 5th wheel. I have a 2020 GMC 2500HD. Do I need the pigtail adapter to get sufficient power to the camera?

You sure do! The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter w/ Power Switch for Furrion RV Observation Camera item # FR87PR will provide the additional power required for your observation camera system like item # FCE48TASL-05 to function properly.
You can also use the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems item # VGR64VR and hardwire it in so you do not have to worry about the 7-way adapter.
