I’m looking for a door latch for my 2001 featherlight horse trailer my dressing room door latch broke

Hi Daniel; the # 295-000019 you were looking at may fit but we can only guess without knowing the dimensions of your cutout. This fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick with a cutout that is between 2-1/2" to 3" wide x 3-1/2" to 4" tall.

If you have a different cutout dimension please let me know and I will see if we have a replacement that is a better fit. I also attached a link to all of our available door locks below which can be filtered by latch cutout size.

@DanielR the closest thing we have to that is the # BA65FR. This requires a cutout that is 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall so it will fit your existing cutout. the face of the latch is 5-7/8" wide x 5-1/2" tall so it has the dimensions to cover the rest of the opening. The only other option would be to contact a manufacturer like Global Link, Bauer, or Lippert to see if they have one matching your current lock or if they can custom make one for you.

The measurements I gave you was the hole in the door after I took the door latch off @RobinH
