Question:
I have bought several products from you and have been pleased most of the time. I own a 2014 Thor Ace 30.1 with only 25k miles. Bought it used summer 2022 but did not know how significant the s steering problems are until i ran into uneven roads, roads with rut and grooves which has proven to be dangerous when windy. I have purchased from you back and front sway bars and a steering stabilizer. Less swaying but the steering is at best “poor”. Rays Truck service in Spokane Wa checked steering box, alignment and the steering stabilizer and assessed that it is likely a defected steering stabilizer. Steering tend to turn to the right especially on uneven roads. Are there other possibilities? It has cost me much more than i expected to pay. I just want it repaired! To eliminate or at least minimize the “White Knuckling. Any help will certainly be appreciated. Thank you

Hi Douglas,
It's totally possible that the Exact Center Steering Stabilizer # RM33RR you have on your motorhome wasn't installed correctly and is forcing the wheel to turn. The first step before installing it is to make sure your motorhome's alignment is correct. We usually set the wheel straight and place tape at the top and straight behind it to the dash and then let the motorhome roll forward on level ground to see if the wheel starts to lean one way to check the alignment.
From there the Exact Center would need to be installed and you would test drive the same way as before to see if the tape pieces stay lined up. If not the jam nuts on Exact Center can be loosened and then either side can can be adjusted to correct the pull. Roadmaster has a video where they show this process on a Jeep that can help you through this process if you're doing it yourself. I will say after doing it myself it's a bit challenging to get it perfect.

Hi Douglas, how did things go after checking the alignment and adjusting the Exact Center steering stabilizer on your Thor Ace? Did those steps help reduce the pull to the right and make the steering feel steadier? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same issue.
