Question:
My camper has 3500lbs axles with 3 leaf leaf springs with 25.25 eye to eye centers. I see 3 leaf at 4000lbs and was wondering if I can go with 4 leaf leaf springs at 3500lbs rating since I put a heavier D rated tire and the camper is already riding rougher.

Comfort wise you'll be ok adding the 4-leaf spring item # TRU25FR over the 3-leaf spring item # e57SR just be aware it will slightly affect the ride height of your trailer. If your springs are above your axles it'll sit a little bit higher which shouldn't be an issue. However, if your axles are below your springs you'll lower your trailer.
If you're replacing 3-leaf springs with 25-1/4" centers, I recommend using the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring item # e57SR.

Hey, how did things turn out after switching to the 3-leaf springs on your camper? Did the ride feel smoother or stay about the same? Your update could make it easier for others deciding between the 3- and 4-leaf options.
