Question:
I need to replace the landing gear on a 1999 Forest River Cardinal camper CAF27RK. GVWR is 11670. The original landing gear is Atwood and has an electric motor. I want to replace with a similar electric motor operated landing gear. What do you recommend?

Hey Mike, while Atwood no longer makes RV landing gear we do have the Stromberg part # LG-3 which easily fits in place as it was designed for the same mounting brackets on the RV side. This is rated a little higher too so it should move faster as well.

Hey Mike, how did the swap to the Stromberg electric landing gear go on your Cardinal camper? Did it line up well with the old Atwood brackets? Your feedback could really help others replacing older Atwood systems.
