Question:
I own a 2010 Tundra SR5, receiver tube OD is 2-15/16inch or 2.94. Can i use the RH5 receiver lock which has a 3-1/16inch ID or do I need to use the RH5-XL

Expert Reply:
As long as the width on the outside of the hitch receiver where the pin will go is 2-15/16 inches you can use the lock you want. But some hitches have some additional weld material around the pin hole to make it stronger. This also makes it wider and in those cases you would need to use locking hitch pin # e98881
