Will Trailer Suspension Hanger Kit APT5 Fit a 2001 Fourwinds Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a fourwinds 2001 29 ft travel trailer. I need to replace some of the parts for the suspension. I of course will take a tape measure and double check.

It is possible that hanger kit # APT5 will fit your trailer. But you will need to take the measurements first like you said. When taking the measurements you will want to have the weight off of the trailer by jacking up one side.

Depending on the axle capacity you could have different measurements depending on the springs used and the axle spacing and so on.

If the axle measures 1-3/4 inches in diameter then using the picture I have included, the A measurement should be 24-3/4 inches, B should also be 24-3/4 inches, C should be 29-1/2 inches, and D should be 5 inches.

If the axle is 3 inches in diameter then A and B will be 29-1/2 inches, C will be 33-1/2 inches, and C will be 4-1/2 inches.

9/16" Diameter center and end holes
(8) 2-5/8" Long shackle straps (115052)
