Furrion RV Refrigerator Freezer Works Fine But Fridge Will Not Get Cold - What Is The Cause?

Hi, freezer is working, but the fridge will not get colder that 52, what would be the problem. Done checked door seals and make sure coils are cleaned. Thanks Brook

Hello Brook, thanks for reaching out. Generally, when we see this issue with the Furrion RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer # FCR14ACBQABL it is because the unit is not getting enough power. If it is not getting enough power, the freezer and lights may work, but the fridge cannot fully cool because the unit does not have enough power to cycle the compressor. This fridge is rated for 115V AC, so I suggest that you check and make sure that it is receiving full power.

Same problem but I’m also hooked to shore power I’ve noticed damper door don’t open when doors open and door switch bypassed I’m thinking it might be temp sensor? I hear fan running in freezer side if I prop open damper it’s gets too cold of course what do you think might be wrong ? It’s 2 seasons old. When I hard rest and defrost no difference

@David David, honestly that really sounds like the damper door or thermistor acting up more than anything else. If the freezer is getting cold, the fan is running, and the fridge side only cools when you manually prop the damper open, that’s a pretty big clue the cold air just isn’t making it down into the refrigerator section like it should. Since you already did a hard reset and defrost with no change, I’d be leaning toward either the damper motor sticking or the temp sensor telling the board the fridge is colder than it actually is.
